FOREWORD
As a pebble, cast into a still pond, will
cause ripples which distort and throw out
of focus the reflections once so clear in the
water; so the passing of time will dull and
alter the memories which are now poign-
ant.
But these memories are important.
They are the record of a year, a year of
your life, a year of development of your
school, a year to be remembered. And so,
in order to keep the memories of this year
as vivid as now, we offer you the Planet
for 1957.

MBS. VIRGINIA ROBERTS
Merits of honor are awarded for various
endeavors and achievements, but whatever the
endeavor may be, the prize winner must be tops
in his field. To Mrs. Virginia Roberts goes the
merit of honor because of the help and guidance
rendered to our class. We, the Seniors, feel that
she is tops as one of our many devoted teachers.
Because of her genuine interest in the wel-
fare of the students of our school and the unfail-
ing aid to our Senior Class, we dedicate this, the
Planet for 1957.

CLASS WILL
□ The Speech Class leaves the privilege (and
fun) of producing one-act plays to all Juniors
who wish to accept the responsibility.
□ Seniors leave vacancies on Hall Patrol, dubs,
Planet Staff, Band, Chorus, and dramatics to
those students who can fulfill the need.
□ Seniors will all homework and teacher prob-
lems to whomever can carry the load.
□ The responsibility as seniors and the realiza-
tion that this shouldn’t be the absolute end
of your education, we, the Seniors, do solemn-
ly give to the Juniors.
□ To all under classmen—the thrill of the Prom,
Baccalaureate, and Commencement.
